Wheelchair stair climber – In the training rooms to which we go always we find different areas well differentiated and separated. On the one hand we have the part dedicated to anaerobic exercise, which is where we find machines with weight and dumbbells. In another part usually is the zone of the aerobic machines in which we can find different machines. Most people usually opt for treadmills and the exercise bike. The wheelchair stair climber is a machine composed of two bases where we place the feet, plus two grips for the hands that will serve to keep our arms moving while we are practicing the exercise. The elliptical is formed by a series of pulleys and bearings that generate a cushioned movement that will avoid the impact that takes place against the ground when practicing race. The movement will be steady and smooth. Precisely this movement is what makes the elliptical so peculiar.

The quadriceps are a group of four muscles – the rectus femoris, the vast intermediate, the vastus external and the vastus internal – that span the front of the thighs in front of the hamstrings. As a result, they facilitate the opposite range of motion – extension of the knee – and the rectus femoris also helps flex the hip joint. The quadricep contracts with force to extend the knee every time you press the foot down when you are using a wheelchair stair climber. The rectus femoris also works to lift the upper leg during exercise, along with the rest of the hip flexors.

For many this machine is simply another place to practice the race. But the elliptical is much more than a machine to practice race, since above all we must take into account that what we will get with the training in this machine is to activate all the parts of the body , since to have to grab us in the upper levers, What we do is move our arms while we are running.
